I'd just like to introduce myself. I am Thadeus Morticaine, an aspiring author, and have decided, as a course of personal development, to begin to document my spiritual pursuits. I suffer from depression, anxiety, Asperger Syndrome and Bipolar Syndrome and I hope that with this blog, I hope to enrich the lives of others if I can by possibly offering a new angle on things. I am open to people getting in touch with new techniques and practices and I hope that my own practises can offer something for you as well.
I am into rune casting and meditation as well as binaudal music. I am also beginning to look into Hermeticism, Gnosticism and alchemy. I have a few books that I intend to work my way through that include Tony Willis's Runic Workbook, The Lesser Key of Solomon and The Ars Notoria.

There are others that I am interested in and am looking into the lives of Terence McKenna, Aleister Crowley, Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, Austin Osman Spare, Alan Watts and perhaps as a surprise, David Icke.

Through this blog I hope to add experiences during my meditations, my use of runes, oracle cards and other practises. I am even thinking of looking into Vedic Astrology and the Kabbalah. With that in mind, I also hope to recommend books and items that I have found useful.
One of my aims is that I document my changes in my points of view about consciousness and perception as I progress through my journey. Hopefully, this will offer new insights for you as it will for me.

As a start, I hope to be taking a look into runes - specifically Bind Runes, Tony Willis's Runic Workbook and the Icelandic Runes, including a book by the Icelandic Magic Company. And I will interspersing those posts as well as continuing with a closer look at meditation. I also Hope to upload several of my past experiences that I have had with these as well as poignant episodes that have occurred during my life.
Another thing that I would like to explore is the history of magic. I would very much like to look into the lives of John Dee, Edward Kelly and others like Roger Bacon and Hermes Trismegistus and how it equates to modern times, specifically chaos magic.
With all of these topics, as I begin to explore them, I plan to open up a new page for each of them that I intend to act as a more easily accessible archive for you than trawling through the chronological list of entries, looking for a specific post.
For more information, please see the description under the header and the page link called About Thadeus Morticaine to the right of the screen.
I hope that you'll stay in touch.
My regards, Thadeus Morticaine.
