Blessing to all.

I just wanted to share a couple of of pictures of my new pendulums. I've had them a month and I am really pleased with them. I haven't really done anything spectacular with them yet, nor do I feel that I've fully mastered what they can do, but in the month that I've had them, they have been very useful in meditation and oracle card readings as well as being companion pieces when I've taken them down to the river to contemplate life, the universe and everything. They feel like part of me now and I hope to learn more practises with them. They feel right at home with my collection of crystals now.
I have an Apophylite pendulum (top) and an Amethyst pendulum (bottom). Hopefully I'll be posting more about my activities with them. Sorry for the bad photo quality, they were taken on my phone as I'm yet to get a good camera.

Also, a bit of an update on other things. I am thinking about rejigging a few aspects of this blog. Don't worry, not too much will charge. It'll mostly revolve around me organising it to more easily keep track of the content I wish to put up and to better define what I intend to do and research and what my intentions for this blog are.

I have also finished reading Philip K Dick's Valis and it was an immense book. I fully intend to write a review of it as I learned a lot from it. What I will most likely do is write a general review about it as well as writing a more in depth analysis of its key points and offering up what I learned from it. I have now also started Patricia Cori's No More Secrets, No More Lies and will probably follow the same format - a general review and an in depth analysis article - as I would like to complete her full Sirian Revelations trilogy.

I have also been keeping up with my oracle card readings and may start putting some of those up.

I have also recently been working on plans to produce some spiritual artwork for personal spiritual work. This will soon involve some automatic painting and images of deities and symbols that I've seen in meditation. This has also had the knock on effect of me producing a small selection of sigils and bindrunes and images that I intend to carry about with me in my charm pouch once I've charged those up.

Oh yes, I have a charm pouch now as well! The contents of which, I think will be the topic of another post.

I have also gotten into collecting crystals. To accompany these, I purchased a copy of The Crystal Bible Volume One by Judy Hall and I would very much like to purchase Volume Two. I would like to get to know my crystals better so that I can utilise them better. Perhaps there's a blog post there as well?

For roughly a month, I have also been spending time at a spot by the river that, though busy, spoke to me. I'm pleased to say, that I think I have found my meditation spot for when I'm particularly in need of being outside and in nature. It is here that I think I found a small colony of fairies - I haven't seen them but I have strongly felt their presence - and it is here that I have experience a surprising selection of synchronicities, including finding that I have the moth as a spirit animal. This spot also gave me the motivation to start something that I'd been wanting to do in a while, and that is to start collecting enough stones to make my own set of runes. I now have enough to start turning into a set of runes.

In the process of finding symbols and sigils that I'd seen in meditation, I leafed through my old notes. Struth, there's some interesting stuff in there that I'd forgotten as well as some notes that require further research. I think they will eventually be uploaded onto here as well and posts made about some of the research that leads on from this. I should really stay in the habit of recording my meditations and oracle readings better, perhaps even as blog posts.

This will possibly progress into thoughts and expressions of what I need to work on in the future. For instance, I recently meditated and found that I was loosing touch with my three spirit guides - more details on them at a later date - and my sanctuary. I will need to work on keeping in touch with them. But I think I did get a visit from my Higher Self. But I think I will detail this at a later point.

I am also in the process of putting together an altar. I think this will start out as little more than a place to keep all my mystical paraphernalia, but I will be adding portraits of deities I'm wanting to work with as well as using it as a specific space to practise in. I am even fancying making a black mirror to put there for scrying.

To be honest, I have also been looking at the previous post where I created an impromptu biography of the first decade of my life. I wrote this while in a dark place, a place where I needed to find some direction and gain a better understanding of myself. So, with that said, I am unsure at this time whether I will be continuing it at a later point or letting it be lost in the depths of the blogosphere. I don't think I shall delete it. I think it has served a purpose well. What's done is done and there is no real reason why I would want to deny it.

Also as a final couple of notes, I do still have an interest in Terrence McKenna and Robert Anton Wilson and I am thinking of uploading pieces about interviews and talks I've watched alongside a link to the talk itself. Also, I have been toying with the idea of doing some shadow work at some point in the near future. Some research on the subject is in order first though.
